Carrot Cake Cookies is from the Writer’s Stop in Hollywood Studios. The Writer’s Stop was a favorite pastry, coffee, and bookstore. This Disney Hollywood Studios spot was closed in 2016 to make room for Toy Story Land. The popular spot may be gone but the carrot cake cookies live on in the recipe from Disney.
Remembering The Writer’s Stop
The Writer’s Stop was this quaint place to stop and rest. Located near Streets of America, which also is long gone. This unique shop was a pastry that meets the coffee shop meets bookstore. You grab a coffee and pastry and buy a book all in one stop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Carrot Cake Cookie
What put the Writer’s Stop on the map was the carrot cake cookie! Although the Writer’s Stop had many wonderful cookies and danishes, the carrot cake cookie stood out at this Disney eatery.
Even though Writer’s Stop is no more, you can still get the carrot cake cookies at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They are in the Starbuck’s Location of Trolley Car Treats. However, the recipe changed and those carrot cake cookies are not the same as they were when they were sold at the Writer’s Stop.
Retro Disney Recipe
I guess since Disney’s Carrot Cake Cookies have changed, it is safe to say the original Writer’s Stop version is now a retro Disney recipe. Like the Bacon Lettuce Tomato BLT Soup {Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater} I can add this cookie recipe to a beloved recipe by Disney dining fans that we can no longer get at Walt Disney World.
