What is character dining? Character dining is when you eat your meal and Disney characters visit your table. On the Disney Dining Plan, a character meal is usually 2 meals you have to redeem for this special dining experience.

Winnie The Pooh

Winnie The Pooh and pals are usually who you will see at the Crystal Palace. You make your way around the all you can eat buffet and Winnie The Pooh, Tiger, and Piglet stop by to say hello and for a photo op.

Crystal Palace

Where is the Crystal Palace? This Disney Dining Palace is in the Magic Kingdom. As you walk down Main Street USA, right at the hub, before the castle, look to your left.

You will see Adventureland. Over to the far left of Adventureland’s entrance, you will see this glass building. That is The Crystal Palace.

The beautiful turn of the century building is breathtaking. Just looking at the architecture of the Crystal Palace will amaze you.

Pasta Salad

The Crystal Palace is a buffet. It does serve Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the lunch and dinner menu, you will find salads, including this pasta salad.

The pasta salad at the Crystal Palace has a very Mediterranean taste to it. The feta pasta salad with balsamic is amazing an amazing combination.

Pasta Salad with Feta and Balsamic Vinaigrette {Crystal Palace}

Ingredients

• 1 pound pasta, such as penne, farfalle, or ziti
• 1/3 cup white balsamic vinegar
• 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
• Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 2 tablespoons fresh chives
• 1/2 cup roughly chopped Kalamata olives
• 1/2 cup thinly sliced red peppers
• 1/2 cup thinly sliced green peppers
• 1/2 cup finely diced tomatoes
• 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions
• 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
• 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

1. Cook pasta per package instructions.
2. Drain and rinse in cool water, set aside.
3. Whisk together white balsamic vinegar and olive oil in a medium bowl until combined.
4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
5. Whisk in chives and set aside
6. Combine cooked pasta, olives, onions, red peppers, green peppers, and tomatoes.
7. Toss with enough vinaigrette to coat.
8. Fold in feta and Parmesan cheeses.
9. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
10. Add more dressing, if desired, to taste.
