When comes to the Walt Disney World resort dining, there are endless possibilities. Every level of taste is covered throughout Disney’s resorts and parks. Let’s put it this way, even the pickiest of eaters will find a place to dine at in Walt Disney World.

When comes to comfort food, Disney knows that people will want that. In Hollywood Studios, comfort food rules at one of the signature restaurants. Sometimes all you want is just a plate of food that feels like home. That is what comfort food is after all.

50’s Prime Time Cafe

What is this restaurant that serves up comfort food at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? It is the 50’s Prime Time Cafe! This Disney dining location is one of my favorite places to eat when I am at the Walt Disney World resort. Why? Because it is all American comfort food!

Now you can get food like Mom’s Meatloaf and Pot Roast ant the 50’s Prime Time Cafe, but the one dish that stands out to me is the chicken noodle soup! This savory chicken noodle soup is just like what mom used to make! 

The broth in this Disney chicken soup is flavored just right. The chef or “mom” does a wonderful job of making this classic chicken noodle soup!

Chicken Noodle Soup {50's Prime Time Cafe}

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes

Chicken Noodle Soup from Disney's 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios is pure comfort food. This savory bowl of soup is perfect when you want some home cooking while you are visiting Walt Disney World resort!

Ingredients

  • Medium onion, diced
  • 1 large carrot, diced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup cooked egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large celery stalk, diced
  • 3 parsley sprigs, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 5 cups chicken stock

Instructions

  1. Saute carrots, onions, and celery in olive oil until onion is opaque.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except for egg noodles.
  3. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Add egg noodles and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley.
